If you're looking to have a light chuckle or a pretentious guffaw, then this book probably isn't for you. Now, on the other hand, if you want to laugh your ass off at one of the funniest books I've ever had the pleasure of reading, then by all means click the BUY button now. On the first page alone I laughed 3 times, loudly, alone in my apartment. And the book never lets up.I think that Schwegler and Gumeny must be evil geniuses. You can almost feel their glee as they sadistically murder, remurder, molest, mutilate and embarass nearly every character in the book. It's puerile, but also extremely clever. It's full of sex and violence, but as far from erotica or horror as you could possibly get. It's an easy read, but not easy to put down. The dialogue moves along at roller-coaster speeds. Puns abound. You never quite know what ridiculousness the next page may bring.
Oh, and it cost less than a dollar! Seriously, for the amount of entertainment you will get from this, you'd have paid much, much more. At least a $1.50.

Unreadable chaos. I read constantly, and while some books have captured my imagination more than others, this is one of only two that I can remember quitting before finishing. Maybe it's me, but I just did not get it.
Just incredibly horrible. I suppose if you're an idiot that is amused by grade school sex jokes followed by fart jokes for an entire book, then you may like this. Only read this book if you have a ton of homework that you're procrastinating on and you've already done everything else.
If you like bad, pun-like jokes - this is the book for you. It is easy to read and made me laugh out loud several times. The mini adventures that the crew goes on are great.

Fun, crazy story about a bozo ship captain and crew and their adventures. Star Trek morphed with Zaphod Beeblebrox (Hitchikers Guide). The captain being resurrected again and again gets a bit strained but it was a fun read. The sex scenes are not all that explicit, definitely not friction fiction but amusing enough...
To quote Dorothy Parker, "This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly, it should be thrown with great force".
OK - from the title and the first few pages I knew it would be juvenile. I was prepared for that and for crass humor. But it reaches way to hard with too little. The character names remind me of a paper I got in trouble for writing in high school. Ben Dover and Heywood Jablomie sort of thing. After about a third of the way I had to give up, it just got tiresome. I like off color humor, but this just didn't work for me. Sorry guys. I did like "Exponential Apocalypse."
